The 43rd (2023) China Cleaning Industry Annual Meeting (hereinafter referred to as the "Annual Meeting") was held concurrently with the exhibition. Hosted by the China Cleaning Industry Association (CCIA) and organized by the China Cleaning Industry Magazine, the Annual Meeting was held under the theme "Enhancing Resilience, Moving Forward", and was aimed at uniting various segments of the industry to create a platform for improved communication. The goal was to drive the cleaning industry's quality evolution towards sustainability, functionality, branding, and internationalization.

At the last edition of CIMP, organizers revamped the popular Laundry Capsule DIY Experience Area  with enhancements. This was bolstered by the robust support from exhibitors like Polyva, Milliken, and DSM-Firmenich. Attendees were given the opportunity to create their own bespoke laundry capsules for personal use, including the selection of fragrances and capsule molds. Upon entering the experience area, attendees experience a "self-serve production" journey and savor the delight of crafting something uniquely theirs and "pleasing to the self."
